Mr. O’Brien explained they 2 <br />will do a landscaping drawing on that. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Commissioner Neumann asked how long the applicant has been at the property and what type 5 <br />of business is this. She stated she knew it was a manufacturing business but for the public 6 <br />who do not have a dictionary and are not in manufacturing, could Mr. O’Brien say a little bit 7 <br />more on the record about what the company does, what the company offers specifically to the 8 <br />St. Anthony community, or if his company is just one of the City’s business consumers that is 9 <br />here as well. Mr. O’Brien reviewed the history of his company and indicated the business 10 <br />was started in 1988. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Commissioner Neumann asked what kind of programs the company has in St. Anthony. Mr. 13 <br />O’Brien stated in this particular location they have hosted “Feed My Starving Children” and 14 <br />the employees volunteer for different things and help out the community. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Motion by Commissioner Neumann, seconded by Commissioner Morita, to recommend that 17 <br />the City Council approve the requested Conditional Use Permit for an electronic dynamic 18 <br />display sign at 2827 Anthony Lane, with the conditions as detailed in the staff report. 19 <br /> 20 <br />Motion carried 5-0. 21 <br /> 22 <br />IV. STAFF REPORTS. 23 <br /> 24 <br /> City Planner Grittman updated the Commission on the Interstate Development PUD 25 <br />Development. He indicated prior to the City Council meeting the applicant requested to be 26 <br />removed from the Council agenda based on some issues related to their concerns over being 27 <br />able to affordably construct the project as anticipated. The Company is continuing to work on 28 <br />options, and this may be back in front of the Council before Thanksgiving, if it does come 29 <br />back. 30 <br /> 31 <br />V. OTHER BUSINESS. 32 <br /> 33 <br />City Planner Grittman stated there was a question earlier in the meeting about the disposition 34 <br />of the Planning Commission’s consideration of Temporary Sign regulations. He indicated at 35 <br />this time, staff is pursuing a delay in the discussion of temporary signs until the COVID 36 <br />Pandemic has passed, and it can then be brought to the Commission for further discussion 37 <br />after that time. 38 <br /> 39 <br />VI.
