1/8/2021 <br />5 <br />FUTURE ADDITIONAL COMMUNICATION PRIORITIES <br />City department communication goals/needs for 2021 <br />Translation services: <br />•Emergency messaging with Fire Department. <br />•Determine what will be translated (currently researching other cities). <br />Increase social media engagement: <br />•Launch plan for City’s Facebook account. <br />•Utilize department news pages to get more content out to the community. <br />Newsletter task force: <br />•Paused due to COVID-19/ get taskforce together for 2021. <br />•Discuss improvements to the overall design, content, how often published, etc. <br />FUTURE ADDITIONAL COMMUNICATION PRIORITIES <br />City department communication goals/needs for 2021 <br />Website Redesign: <br />•Work with CivicPlus website host for website redesign <br />Increased use of videos: <br />•Across departments increase use of videos for public education
