The thought of putting a car
wash adjacent to my home is a not a good idea. There are more than enough places to get vehicles washed
within a few miles. My main concerns are: more noise and air pollution, lighting nuisance, and increased traffic
congestion on Kenzie Terrace and back alley way. Something in addition to consider is there are already
enough semi tractor trailors, ocean container flat beds, and scrap metal haulers using Kenzie. County Road 88
makes more sense to divert this kind of traffic over and keep t he wear, tear and noise on an appropriate roadway
for that use. It seems to me with the permit for the proposed car wash already being approved that few, if any,
are listening to the taxpayers who will be most affected. I'm aware that developed property brings more tax
revenue to the city. If a car wash is approved and after the novelty has worn off, this type of business could
easily fail. What could that building be used for? Simply another car wash. Then back to square one. There are
alternative things to put on that site that would serve the city, the neighborhood and the residents of St. Anthony
much better.

I strongly urge you and those involved to not approve a car wash for that parcel of land. If you disagree, than
how would it be if one is constructed next to your home?

Jim Waite
2601 Kenzie Terrace #207

Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android
