I'm not sure we've ever really formally met outside of National Night Out events where you
end up talking to too many people to keep track of but we were on a Healing Circle call together a month or so
ago so I'm assuming my name might ring a bell.
I'm writing because I live on the south side of 27th Ave NE and the alley behind my house bumps up to the
proposed Car Wash development location and I have several concerns about that empty lot becoming a car
wash.

I'm very concerned about the environmental and economic impact that it will have on our neighborhood and
ultimately the community as a whole. Some broad stroke concerns I have are:
 Air Pollution
 Noise Pollution
 Light Pollution
 Water Runoff and Sewer Capacity
 Traffic on 27th Ave and Kenzie Terrace
 And of course how all the above will affect Property Values
I believe I have heard that the proposal for this Car Wash is going to be sent back to the Planning Commission
instead of being voted on tomorrow but I also have concerns as to how this was initially approved by the
planning commission without taking many of my above concerns into consideration - let alone that idea
building a car wash on that site means that there will always be a car wash in that location as the building
won't be easily converted into another type of business which probably isn't in line with the City of Saint
Anything Village's comprehensive growth plan.
84
