Department Divisions <br />The Public Works Department is divided into six (6) divisions: Streets, Parks, Water/Sewer, <br />Vehicle Maintenance, Engineering and City Buildings. <br />STREETS DIVISION <br />The Street Division is responsible for the repair and maintenance of <br />the City’s street and sidewalk network. They are responsible for <br />snow and ice control in the winter months, as well as road <br />maintenance repairs and street sweeping during the summer months. <br />The Public Works Department also completed an annual Boulevard Tree Trimming and Removal <br />& Planting Program. A total of eight (8) trees were taken down and nine (9) trees were planted <br />on City property. In 2020, the Street Division conducted 13 street sweepings Citywide. <br />In the 2020-2021 winter season, there were 10 citywide plowing events.
