CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 21-031 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CALLING A HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS <br />FOR THE 2021 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by direction of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village, a proposed assessment of the <br />cost of the following improvement has been prepared: <br /> <br />Street & Utility Reconstruction <br /> Skycroft Drive from 32nd Avenue to 33rd Avenue <br /> Croft Drive from 32nd Avenue to 33rd Avenue <br /> 33rd Avenue Storm Sewer Improvements <br /> <br />Mill and Overlay <br /> 31st Avenue from Rankin Road to Old Highway 8 <br /> Croft Drive from Ranking Road to 31st Avenue <br /> 29th Avenue from Stinson Boulevard to Silver Lake Road <br /> St. Anthony Boulevard from Stinson Boulevard to Kenzie Terrace <br /> <br />Sanitary Sewer Capacity Improvements <br />• Foss Road Lift Station Pumps <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village that: <br /> <br />1. A hearing shall be held on the 27th day of April 2021, in the City Council Chambers at 7:00 P.M., or as <br />soon thereafter as possible, to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons <br />owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to <br />such assessment. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be <br />published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the <br />notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the <br />owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less two weeks prior to the hearing. <br />3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the <br />County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date of <br />payment, to the City Clerk, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid by <br />November 30th of the assessed year. <br />4. The owner may, at any time thereafter, pay to the Finance Director the entire amount of the assessment <br />remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December of the year in which such payment is made.
