<br />RESOLUTION 21-044
<br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID
<br />FOR THE 2021 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement as shown on the plan for the
<br />above-referenced project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and
<br />the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

<br />8 Park Construction Company $2,187,445.40
<br />9 Ryan Contracting Company $2,304,936.00
<br />10 Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. $2,402,075.10
<br />11 Kuechle Underground, Inc. $2,443,550.46
<br />WHEREAS, it appears that Northwest Asphalt, Inc. of Shakopee, MN is the lowest responsible bidder,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village that:
<br />1.The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
<br />contract with Northwest Asphalt, Inc. in the amount of $1,896,823.85 in the name of
<br />the City of St. Anthony Village, Minnesota for the improvement outlined in the
<br />above-referenced project according to the plans and specifications, therefore,
<br />approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
<br />2. The Engineer, WSB, is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
<br />bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful
<br />bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been
<br />signed.
