CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 20-075 <br />A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR DELINQUENT PUBLIC <br />UTILITY SERVICE ACCOUNTS TO THE 2021 HENNEPIN COUNTY TAX ROLLS <br />WHEREAS, utility records for the City of St. Anthony identify certain delinquent charges and utility <br />accounts as of October 06, 2020; and <br />WHEREAS, the owners of record of the properties served by each delinquent account have been notified <br />of the delinquency according to the legal requirements of the ordinance 33.107; and <br />WHEREAS, the delinquent charges may be assessed under Minnesota Statutes §429.101 and 444.075 that <br />authorize certification of such delinquent charges to the County tax rolls for collection; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given to the owners of record as required by law, the City has <br />met the requirements for the assessment of these delinquent public utility charges. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br />1) The special assessment of delinquent public utility accounts is hereby adopted and certified as <br />Levy No: 20582 for the attached properties and amounts: <br />2)The special assessments as adopted shall be payable with collectible ad valorem taxes in 2021, <br />with interest thereon at eight (8) percent per annum, and shall bear interest from the entire period of <br />November 30, 2020 through December 31, 2021. <br />3)The City Clerk shall transmit a certified copy of this assessment to the County Auditor to be <br />extended to the proper tax lists to the county, and such assessments shall be collected and paid over <br />the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br />Adopted this 13th day of October, 2020. <br />ATTEST: <br />Nicole Miller, City Clerk <br />Review for Administration: <br />Charlie Yunker, Interim City Manager
