On January 1, 2023, National Sanitary Foundation (NSF) will implement a new health requirement called NSF 600 which will require all coatings in contact with potable water to meet new, lower extraction levels. These new limits may restrict available product offerings and qualified applicators resulting in increased overall reconditioning costs. The costs for applying a coating system, that complies with the new regulation, to the interior wet area is not included in the provided cost estimate. 4.2|Remaining Tank Life Based on the inspection data, if the recommended structural repairs and coating replacement are completed within the next three (3) years, the tank will be satisfactory for continued service provided that it is inspected and maintained regularly. The tank and coating should first be inspected within the warranty period and every three (3) to five (5) years thereafter.
