WSB & ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />EXHIBIT B <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />GENERAL SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />ARTICLE B.1 — BASIC SCOPE OF SERVICES AS CITY ENGINEER AND PUBLIC WORKS SUPPORT <br />The Client intends to retain the Consultant as the designated City Engineer, augment the Public Works Staff <br />duties, and to provide general engineering and other related professional services. Typical general services <br />(not all-inclusive) are listed below. <br />B.1.1 General Engineering and Project Management. Services include capital planning, policy <br />updates, budgeting, and assistance with short and long-range street and utility planning and <br />Public Works maintenance issues. <br />B.1.2 Reports and Correspondence. Preparation of engineering reports and technical <br />correspondence including; determination of need, preparation, review for compliance with <br />City ordinances and policies, minor site plan reviews, and review of reports prepared by other <br />agencies that are not included as part of a public improvement project or escrowed private <br />development. <br />B.1.3 Meeting Attendance. The City Engineer or other Consultant staff members as approved will <br />attend the following meetings: <br />• City Council Meetings <br />• Advisory Board Meetings <br />• Planning Commission <br />• Parks Commission <br />• Internal Staff Meetings <br />• Developer Meetings <br />B.1.4 Liaison Support. Respond as liaison for engineering activities related to adjacent <br />municipalities and regulatory agencies. <br />B.1.5 Staff and Resident Support. Respond to staff and resident engineering inquiries and <br />requests, including public presentations, evaluation of specific issues, and recommendations <br />to staff and City Council. <br />B.1.6 Public Works Support. Services include providing highly trained, experienced staff to offer <br />technical support and training of the City's water supply and wastewater operations. <br />Augmentation services will include: <br />• Monthly operator meetings to review water and wastewater facility operations <br />• Preventative and corrective maintenance recommendations <br />• Capital improvement program support <br />• Assistance with water supply concerns - water quality and water pressure <br />• Assistance with regulatory compliance <br />B.1.7 GIS Support. GIS services to be billed separately per an annual proposal for services. <br />B.1.8 MS4 Services. MS4 services to be billed separately per an annual proposal for services. <br />B.1.9 Office Hours. Establish regular office hours of at least two half days per week, to be agreed <br />upon by the Client and the Consultant. <br />B.1.10 Construction Services. Services including monitoring of City and private projects, review of <br />construction plans, and construction staking and surveying that are not included as part of a <br />public improvement project or escrowed private development. <br />Exhibit B — Scope of Services Page 1 <br />
