<br /> <br />Many ordinances include specific lists for each CUP in the various districts. This would entail <br />some extensive ordinance rework, but is a common approach. <br />A second approach would be to consider which (if any) classes of CUPs in the Commercial <br />District might require additional conditions (or even prohibition) if located in close proximity to <br />residential uses. Some codes will place distance requirements between certain commercial <br />uses and residential property, some will create extensive buffering requirements, and there are <br />other regulatory options as well. <br />
