PR O C L A M A T I O N <br /> WHEREAS, the Minnesota Crime Prevention Association, AAA of Minnesota and the St. Anthony <br />Village Police Department are sponsoring a statewide crime and drug prevention <br />program on August 3, 2021, called "Night to Unite"; and <br /> WHEREAS, this is the 13th Annual Night to Unite” in Minnesota and it provides a unique <br />opportunity for St. Anthony Village to join forces with hundreds of other communities <br />across Minnesota in promoting cooperative, police-community crime and drug <br />prevention efforts; and <br /> WHEREAS, City of St. Anthony Village plays a vital role in assisting the St. Anthony Village Police <br />Department through joint crime and drug prevention efforts in St. Anthony Village and <br />is supporting "Night to Unite 2021" locally; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is essential that all citizens of St. Anthony Village be aware of the importance of <br />crime prevention programs and the impact of their participation can have on <br />reducing crime and drug abuse in the City of St. Anthony Village; and <br /> WHEREAS, police and community together promote neighborhood safety, awareness and <br />cooperation, are important themes of the "Night to Unite" program. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the St. Anthony Village City Council, do hereby call upon all citizens of <br /> City of St. Anthony Village to join us in supporting the 13th Annual “Night to Unite” on August 3, <br /> 2021. <br />FURTHER, BE IT RESOLVED, the St. Anthony Village City Council, hereby proclaim Tuesday, <br />August 3, 2021, as "NIGHT TO UNITE" in the City of St. Anthony Village. <br /> Randy Stille, Mayor <br />July 29, 2021 <br />Date <br />3
