The residential streets were constructed as 30-foot wide bituminous roadways with concrete curb and <br />gutter. Pavement cores taken indicated existing asphalt thicknesses range from 4-inches to 5-inches, <br />with a top lift of approximately 2-inches and aggregate thickness of approximately 10-inches with select <br />granular subgrade. The majority of the core samples were in good condition with very minimal stripping <br />noted in the base layer. The streets exhibited a minimal amount of surface distress with some transverse <br />and longitudinal cracking. <br />38
