CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />JULY 27, 2021 <br />4 <br />5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />6 <br />7 Mayor Stille called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />9 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />10 <br />11 Mayor Stille invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />12 <br />13 ROLL CALL. <br />14 <br />15 Present: Mayor Stille, Councilmembers Jenson, and Randle. <br />16 Absent: Councilmembers Walker and Webster. <br />17 Also Present: City Manager Charlie Yunker, Liquor Operations Manager Mike Larson, VillageFest <br />18 Julianne Hunter, and Sergeant Mike Huddle. <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />22 ITEMS. <br />23 <br />24 I. APPROVAL OF JULY 27, 2021 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />25 <br />26 Motion by Councilmember Randle, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the City <br />27 Council Meeting Agenda of July 27, 2021 as presented. <br />28 <br />29 Motion carried 3-0. <br />30 <br />31 II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITION. <br />32 <br />33 A. Presentation of 2021 VillageFest <br />34 <br />35 Ms. Julianne Hunter, representing VillageFest, stated they are excited VillageFest will <br />36 occur this year. It will be held August 6-7, 2021. She reviewed the event schedule in <br />37 detail. The parade will be held at 7:30 p.m. on August 6 down St. Anthony Boulevard. <br />38 The schedule ends on Saturday evening. VillageFest is City supported not City funded. <br />39 All funds are raised by the 501 c3. Now they are raising funds for next year. Generally, <br />40 funds are donated from local businesses but not as many businesses have participated as <br />41 they have in the past. They are hoping members of the community will help support <br />42 VillageFest. She reviewed the major donors this year: Central Avenue Liquors, Northeast <br />43 Lions, Walters Recycling, Annona Gourmet, Hunters Rock, Castle Danger, Fitness <br />44 Crossroads, Hunt Electric, Village Orthodontics, and St. Anthony Voyagers. The <br />45 schedule can be found on their website at stanthonyvillagefest.com. <br />46 <br />47 Mayor Stille thanked Julianne for her efforts for the past 17-18 years on behalf of the <br />48 City Council and the Community. He asked if the parade will be televised on CTV and <br />49 Ms. Hunter stated it will be televised. Mayor Stille encouraged residents to give the local <br />
