Background Information and Reference Documents <br /> <br />We reviewed the following information: <br /> <br />▪ Existing topographic map prepared by MnTOPO. <br /> <br />▪ Communications with Josh Meyer, Bremer Financial Corporation, and Phil Matz, Bremer <br />Financial Corporation, regarding the proposed design and construction of the bank branch. <br /> <br />In addition to the provided sources, we have used several publicly available sources of information. <br /> <br />▪ Current and historic aerial photos from Google Earth, Minnesota Historical Aerial <br />Photographs Online and Hennepin County GIS for information on site history. <br /> <br />▪ Geologic Atlas of Hennepin County, Minnesota – Surficial Geology map prepared and <br />published by the Minnesota Geological Survey, dated 2018 for geological information of <br />native soils. <br /> <br />We have described our understanding of the proposed construction and site to the extent other s <br />reported it to us. Depending on the extent of available information, we may have made assumptions <br />based on our experience with similar projects. If we have not correctly recorded or interpreted the <br />project details, the project team should notify us. New or changed information could require additional <br />evaluation, analyses and/or recommendations. <br /> <br />A.5. Scope of Services <br /> <br />We performed our scope of services for the project in accordance with our Proposal QTB116851 to <br />Bremer Financial Corporation, dated March 11, 2020. The following list describes the geotechnical tasks <br />completed in accordance with our authorized scope of services. <br /> <br />▪ Reviewing the background information and reference documents previously cited. <br /> <br />▪ Staking and clearing the exploration location of underground utilities. We selected and <br />staked the new exploration locations. We acquired the s urface elevations and locations with <br />GPS technology using the State of Minnesota’s permanent GPS base station network. The <br />Soil Boring Location Sketch included in the Appendix shows the approximate locations of the <br />borings.
