Groundwater We did not observe groundwater while performing our borings. Groundwater may take days or longer to reach equilibrium in the boreholes and we immediately backfilled the boreholes, in accordance with our scope of work. If the project team identifies a need for more accurate determination of groundwater depth, we can install piezometers. Project planning should anticipate seasonal and annual fluctuations of groundwater.
