n <br />City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />August 10, 2021 <br />Page 6 <br />City Manager Yunker had no report but wanted to give kudos to City Staff for all the work on <br />Night to Unite and VillageFest. <br />Councilmember Walker reported it was great to speak with residents during Night to Unite and <br />to find out their concerns regarding projects and crime. It was good to connect with the residents. <br />8 Councilmember Jenson stated on August 3 he participated in Night to Unite. On August 6, he <br />9 attended the Ramsey County Local League of Governments Exec Board Meeting. On August 7, <br />10 he worked in the Kiwanis booth at VillageFest. <br />11 <br />12 Councilmember Randle stated he participated in Night to Unite on August 3. He enjoyed <br />13 communicating with the residents. He thought VillageFest and the parade was a good turnout. <br />14 He attended the alumni soccer game. <br />15 <br />16 Councilmember Webster stated there were 32 Night to Unite events in the City and thanked the <br />17 residents who hosted and coordinated an event for their neighborhood. She attended four of the <br />18 parties. She appreciated Police and Fire being available and attending as well as City Staff. She <br />19 thanked the VillageFest Committee for making VillageFest possible. Saturday, she also worked <br />20 in the Kiwanis booth. She thanked Chad Gillard for hosted a new resident mixer. <br />21 <br />22 Mayor Stille stated this is one of the busiest times of the year for Council when participating in <br />23 Night to Unite and VillageFest. He thanked Council for their participation. There were actually <br />24 39 parties with late additions. Staff and Council attended the parties where they were requested <br />25 to attend. JulieAnn Hunter again pulled off a great VillageFest with the VillageFest Committee. <br />26 He attended VillageFest Saturday afternoon. Sheriff Hutchinson, Hennepin County was also in <br />27 attendance. <br />28 <br />29 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />tic <br />31 No one appeared to address the City Council during Community Forum. <br />32 <br />33 IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS — NONE. <br />34 <br />35 X.
