<br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br /> <br />To: Saint Anthony Village City Council <br />From: Nicole Miller, Assistant to the City Manager <br />Date: September 14, 2021 City Council Work Session <br />Request: Agendas & Minutes website module <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br />During our annual goal setting in January 2021, the City Council and staff identified an objective of expanding <br />city services on our website. Staff has identified an available module within our existing website that is for <br />agendas & minutes. <br />The agendas & minutes module provides a more transparent way for residents to view city meeting packet <br />information, as it is easier to navigate online and allows for residents to sign up to receive either an email or a <br />text message when a packet is completed. This module also provides a more streamlined approach for packet <br />assembly for staff. <br />Staff began using this module for our Planning Commission, and Parks and Environmental Commission packets in <br />March of 2021. With the increased use of Zoom to hold meetings, the additional use of this module for <br />electronic packets has integrated well with the commissions. <br />In 2021, staff secured the technology for our City Council to have a laptop and additional monitor to use at <br />home for meetings and to use the laptop to view packets on electronically. These could be utilized in the Council <br />Chambers as well, if desired. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS FOR COUNCIL FEEDBACK <br />Below are the specific items for discussion and feedback: <br />• Is the Council in support of using this module for City Council packet creation? <br />• Do any Councilmembers wish to move to electronic packets versus printed packets? <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />• Example of agenda created in new module <br />
