CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 21-066 <br />A RESOLUTION SETTING THE PRELIMINARY 2022 TAX LEVY AND GENERAL <br />OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota State Law requires that the City of St. Anthony Village provide Hennepin and <br />Ramsey Counties with a proposed 2022 certified property tax levy and operating budget; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a work session reviewing the infrastructure improvement schedule <br />and 2022 Debt Levy requirements on March 9th ; and an June 8`h work session to review the <br />initial 2022 Budget and Property Tax Levy estimates: and an July 13`h public hearing to <br />review and approve the 2022 overall Debt levy and future Road Improvement schedule. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council further reviewed the proposed 2022 property tax levy and general <br />operation budget at the August 24, 2021, City Council meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, the allowed Debt Levies will be reduced by $559,345 based on sufficient funds; and <br />WHEREAS, the preliminary tax levy and budget is contingent upon any revisions allowed if the current <br />law is modified; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council will determine a final property tax levy and budget at the <br />Tuesday, December 14, 2021, public hearing held at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br />1) The preliminary 2022 Property Tax Levy is: <br />General Operating Levy $5,080,297 <br />Capital Improvement Project Levy $ 308,200 <br />Debt Service Levy $2,487,181 <br />Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 209,414 <br />Building Improvement Levy $ 88,000 <br />Infrastructure Levy $ 65,000 <br />Park Improvement Levy $ 5,000 <br />$8,243,092 <br />2) The preliminary 2022 General Fund Operating Budget to s $7,994,029 <br />Adopted this 14'h day of September, 2021.
