CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 21-073 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR DELINQUENT WASTE <br />HAULER ACCOUNTS TO THE 2022 RAMSEY COUNTY TAX ROLLS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, waste hauler records for the City of St. Anthony identify certain delinquent charges and <br />waste hauler accounts as of October 6, 2021; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the owners of record of the properties served by each delinquent account have been notified <br />of the delinquency according to the legal requirements of the ordinance 33.107; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the delinquent charges may be assessed under Minnesota Statutes §429.101 and 444.075 that <br />authorize certification of such delinquent charges to the County tax rolls for collection; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given to the owners of record as required by law, the City has <br />met the requirements for the assessment of these delinquent waste hauler charges. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br /> <br />1) The special assessment of delinquent waste hauler accounts is hereby adopted and certified as <br />Levy No: 81202102 for the attached properties and amounts: <br /> <br />2) The special assessments as adopted shall be payable with collectible ad valorem taxes in 2022, <br />with interest thereon at eight (8) percent per annum, and shall bear interest from the entire period of <br />November 30, 2021 through December 31, 2022. <br /> <br />3) The City Clerk shall transmit a certified copy of this assessment to the County Auditor to be <br />extended to the proper tax lists to the county, and such assessments shall be collected and paid over <br />the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 12th day of October, 2020. <br /> <br /> <br /> _________________________________ <br /> Randy Stille, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: ____________________________ <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Review for Administration: ________________________________ <br /> Charlie Yunker, City Manager
