REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br />To:Saint Anthony Village City Council <br />From:Nicole Miller, Assistant to the City Manager <br />Date:December 14, 2021 City Council Meeting <br />Resolution:Approving Hennepin County Residential Waste Recycling SCORE Grant Agreement <br />OVERVIEW <br />In front of you this evening is the four year renewal of the Hennepin County Residential Waste Recycling SCORE <br />Grant Agreement. <br />Hennepin County distributes all Select Committee on Recycling and the Environment (SCORE) funds to cities for <br />curbside collection of residential recyclables including organics. Hennepin County has a Funding Policy that <br />determines how the grant funds are distributed to cities. <br />The City of St. Anthony currently has Residential Recycling Agreement with Hennepin County that will expire <br />December 31, 2021. <br />Hennepin County will continue to fund recycling programs along with more support for organics recycling. <br />The new agreement will expire on December 31, 2025. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends approval of the Hennepin County Residential Waste Recycling SCORE Grant Agreement for <br />the term of four years-1/1/2022-12/31/2025. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />ď‚·Hennepin County Residential Waste Recycling SCORE Grant Agreement <br />61
