CITY OF SAINT ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 21-091 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HENNEPIN COUNTY <br />RESIDENTIAL RECYCLING SCORE GRANT AGREEMENT AMENDMENT <br />WHEREAS, Hennepin County distributes 100% of its SCORE funds to participating and eligible <br />cities; and <br />WHEREAS, Hennepin County will dedicate funds for curbside recycling and curbside organics <br />recycling,; and <br />WHEREAS, the funds are used for the City's waste reduction and recycling capital and operating <br />expenses; and <br />WHEREAS, Hennepin County and the City of St. Anthony entered into a four-year Residential <br />Recycling Grant Agreement that is set to expire December 31, 2021; and <br />WHEREAS, The Hennepin County Board has adopted a funding policy to continue to fund cities <br />within Hennepin County for the contract period of January 1, 2022 through <br />December 31, 2025. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br />hereby approves the Residential Recycling Grant Agreement expiring on December 31, 2025. <br />Adopted this 14th day of December, 2021. <br />Randy SAX, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City'Clerk <br />Review for Administration: <br />Charlie Yunker, City Manager <br />
