Maintain Training Opportunities on Land Use Issues <br />4. Maintain Communications with City Council as to Land Use Policy <br /> <br />Specific Tasks <br /> <br />A. Undertake Implementation of Comprehensive Plan Policy and Land Use Objectives <br />1. Reconcile conflicts between proposed land use plan map and zoning map. <br />2. Update Zoning Districts, where needed, to better address contemporary <br />development patterns and demand. <br />a. Industrial District – Land Uses, Architectural Standards, Site Planning <br />b. Commercial District – Land Uses, Architectural Standards, Site <br />Planning <br />3. Update Zoning Regulations, where needed, to implement specific Comp Plan <br />goals, as well as common zoning issues. <br />a. Review dimensional and use standards in R-1 Districts to maintain <br />intended neighborhood character, and promote existing residential <br />reinvestment <br />b. Others as identified throughout year. <br />4. Address Sign Regulations, including Temporary Signs <br />5. Research and Review Lighting Regulations <br />6. Research and Review Tobacco Regulations <br /> <br />B. Monitor Emerging Planning Issues and Address as Needed <br />See attached list <br />
