City of St. Anthony <br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />Minutes <br />February 8, 2022 <br />Present: <br />Mayor & Council <br />Randy Stille, Mayor, Thomas Randle, Councilmember, Wendy Webster, Councilmember and Jan Jenson, <br />Councilmember, Bernard Walker, Councilmember <br />Staff: <br />Charlie Yunker, City Manager, Nicole Miller, Assistant to the City Manager <br />Guests: <br />Lisa Dowling, Vice President of Sales, Polco <br />Call to Order: <br />Mayor Stille called the Work Session to order at 5:45 p.m. <br />Community Survey: <br />Nicole Miller reviewed the information in the packet that consisted of answers to Council follow-up <br />questions, a draft Polco contract and updates to the draft Community Survey Policy. Lisa Dowling from <br />Polco was in attendance and reviewed her presentation and was available for questions. <br />The Council asked numerous questions on the methodology for conducting the survey to ensure that <br />the results were statistically sound. Lisa explained the random selection process for invitations, and how <br />the results will be extrapolated in a statistically sound manner bas on 300-400 responses. <br />Council reviewed the updated draft policy and asked to have a “frequency” item added to state that the <br />community-wide survey would not be conducted more often than every two years. <br />Council asked to have the automatic renewal language removed from the draft contract, and Lisa <br />confirmed that would be done before it goes to the next Council meeting. <br />The contract and policy will be presented to Council at the February 22, 2022 regular meeting. <br />Future Work Sessions: <br />Next Work Sessions will be held on February 15th and February 22nd, at 5:45pm in the Council Chambers. <br />Adjournment: <br />The meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted by Charlie Yunker, City Manager.
