The
City has purchased two electric vehicles.
Mr. Don Jenson, 3004 Armour Terrace, is part of the mill and overlay project. He
provided a two -page summary of his concerns to the City Council. He has no problem
with the project moving forward. His issue is the amount of disclosure that comes to
the residents. He would like more detail on the breakdown of the assessment. There
has not been sufficient time for residents to review. There needs to be a better way to
communicate to the residents in the future. More payback options needs to be
provided. He does not know how the math works for the City's and the resident's
portion of the mill and overlay assessment. There are 81 residents on the mil and
overlay assessment list and suggested a mailing be sent asking who would be willing
to prepay. He suggested some of the possibilities might be a better way of doing
business. Mr. Jenson asked for a courtesy copy of the draft minutes.
Mayor Stille thanked Mr. Jenson for his suggestions and comments.
Mayor Stille closed the public hearing at 7:44 p.m.
Motion by Councilmember Jenson, seconded by Councilmember Walker, to approve
Resolution 22-037 — Ordering Improvements for the 2022 Street and Utility
Improvements.
Motion carried 5-0.
b.
