MEMORANDUM <br />To:Saint Anthony Village City Council <br />From:Charlie Yunker, City Manager <br />Date:June 14, 2022 City Council Meeting <br />Resolution:Resolution 22-050 –Designating Polling Places for the 2022 Election Year. <br />OVERVIEW <br />In from of you this evening is a resolution to designate our polling places for 2022 election year. The council <br />previously adopted a resolution re-establishing polling locations after redistricting was completed in February <br />2022. <br />We were recently informed by the management at The Landings (our Ramsey County precinct) that they would <br />be doing renovations on the room previously used for voting and can’t guarantee the layout will continue to <br />work as a polling location as well as if it will be completed by the August Primary election. <br />We are fortunate that the management of Silverwood Park, located in Ramsey County, had previously contacted <br />us expressing their interest in becoming a polling location. <br />Ramsey County Elections and our City Clerk have toured Silverwood Park and have determined it meets all the <br />requirements to be designated a polling place. <br />Ramsey County Elections will notify the affected voters of the polling location change in July, via mailed post <br />card. We will also communicate this change via the website, newsletter, social media, etc. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Resolution 22-050
