City of St. Anthony <br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />Minutes <br />May 24, 2022 <br />Present: <br />Mayor & Council <br />Randy Stille, Mayor, Thomas Randle, Councilmember, Wendy Webster, Councilmember and Jan Jenson, <br />Councilmember, Bernard Walker, Councilmember <br />Staff: <br />Charlie Yunker, City Manager <br />Call to Order: <br />Mayor Stille called the Work Session to order at 5:45 p.m. <br />Council Onbaoding: <br />City Manager Yunker reviewed the cover memo and described the work staff has completed on updates <br />and enhancements to the City Council onboarding information. Council felt the additional slides to the <br />existing PowerPoint covered the items Council asked for at the previous work session on this topic, and <br />approved adding information on the City’s annual plans and reports. <br />The Council discussed extensively the proposed core value statements provided in the packet. Various <br />verbiage changes were proposed and discussed and left to staff to propose final wording. The Council <br />also discussed headers for each statement and the discussed ended with identifying single-word <br />headings, which staff will work to identify based on the discussion and proposed headings. <br />Next, staff will rework the PowerPoint slides into a manual format for better readability, and exercise <br />will be planned in the coming months for crisis communications, legal areas, and race and equity in <br />policy-making. <br />Future Work Sessions: <br />Next Work Sessions will be held on June 14th, 2022, at 5:45pm in the Council Chambers. <br />Adjournment: <br />The meeting adjourned at 6:36 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted by Charlie Yunker, City Manager.
