ANTHONY <br />2 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />3 AUGUST 23, 2022 <br />4 <br />5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />6 <br />7 Mayor Stille called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />8 <br />9 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />10 <br />11 Mayor Stille invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />12 <br />13 ROLL CALL. <br />14 <br />15 Present: Mayor Stille, Councilmembers Jenson, Randle, Walker and Webster. <br />16 Absent:None. <br />17 Also Present:City Manager Charlie Yunker, Finance Director Shelly Rueckert, and Police Chief <br />18 Jon Mangseth. <br />19 Guests:None. <br />20 <br />21 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />22 ITEMS. <br />23 <br />24 I.APPROVAL OF AUGUST 23, 2022 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />25 <br />26 Motion by Councilmember Randle, seconded by Councilmember Webster, to approve the City <br />27 Council Meeting Agenda of August 23, 2022. <br />28 <br />29 Motion carried 5-0. <br />30 <br />31 II.PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS <br />32 <br />33 A.Swearing in of St. Anthony Police Officer Cody Boegeman. <br />34 <br />35 Police Chief Jon Mangseth introduced Police Officer Cody Boegeman and administered the oath. <br />36 <br />37 Mayor Stille stated that the City and Council have had the privilege to swear in three Officers <br />38 over the past six weeks. He welcomed Officer Boegeman to the family of the City. He pledged <br />39 the support for safety of the Police Department in order to keep the community safe. <br />40 <br />41 III.CONSENT AGENDA. <br />42 <br />43 A.Approve August 8, 2022, Council meeting minutes. <br />44 B.Licenses and permits. <br />45 C.Claims. <br />46 <br />47 Motion by Councilmember Jenson, seconded by Councilmember Randle, to approve the Consent <br />48 Agenda items. <br />49
