MEMORANDUM <br />To:Saint Anthony Village City Council <br />From:Charlie Yunker, City Manager <br />Date:September 13, 2022 City Council Meeting <br />Resolution:Approval of Resolution 22-064 -Special Event Permit for the St. Anthony Kiwanis Club at the <br />Central Park Pavilion <br />OVERVIEW <br />In front of you this evening is a resolution to approve a special event permit request from St. Anthony Kiwanis Club to hold <br />a Special Event on October 29, 2022 at the Central Park Pavilion from 2-10 PM. <br />Staff has created a special event permit to facilitate gathering event information, department head reviews of event, and <br />staff recommendations to the City Council. The special event permit is used if the event fits one or more of the following <br />criteria: <br />Expected attendance of more than 100 people and open to the general public <br />Event is requesting the use of city property and/or street closures <br />There will be amplified live or pre-recorded music <br />There will be the sale of alcoholic beverages <br />The applicant is seeking permission to host a Pumpkin Decorating and Auction at the Central Park Pavilion which is city <br />property. <br />Staff has reviewed the special event, confirmed rental of the Pavilion with Community Services and recommends approval. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Application <br />Resolution 22-064
