CITY OF SAINT ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 22-075 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE’S <br />PARTICIPATION IN A JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR A FENCE <br />CONSORTIUM WITH SEVERAL HENNEPIN COUNTY <br />POLICE AGENCIES <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony met with several police agencies in Hennepin County to <br />discuss shared resources to secure a fencing/barrier system to protect critical city <br />infrastructure in the event of a civil unrest situation, AND <br />WHEREAS, that group did extensive research from industry experts and vendors, AND <br />WHEREAS, each agency evaluated their need for fencing and an individual cost was <br />determined. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saint Anthony <br />Village that The City Council agrees to approve the Joint Powers Agreement for the City of St. <br />Anthony to participate in the Fence Consortum with several Hennepin County Police agencies. <br />Adopted this 25th day of October, 2022. <br />______________________________________ <br />Randy Stille, Mayor <br />ATTEST:____________________________ <br /> City Clerk <br />Review for Administration: _____________________________________ <br /> Charlie Yunker, City Manager <br />95
