ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 22-081 <br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID <br />FOR THE HARDING POND STORMWATER QUALITY IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement as shown on the plan for the <br />above -referenced project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and <br />the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Contractor Total Bid <br />1 Nadeau Companies <br />$146,318.00 <br />2 Rachel Contracting, LLC <br />$163,612.75 <br />3 New Look Contracting, Inc. <br />$176,878.50 <br />4 Park Construction Company <br />$203,888.90 <br />5 Veit & Company, Inc. <br />$206,291.50 <br />6 Meyer Contracting, Inc. <br />$233,161.42 <br />7 Peterson Companies <br />$249,741.59 <br />8 Sunram Construction Inc. <br />$277,459.00 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Nadeau Companies is the lowest responsible bidder, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village that: <br />1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Nadeau Companies in the amount of $146,318.00 in the name of the <br />City of St. Anthony Village, Minnesota for the improvement outlined in the above - <br />referenced project according to the plans and specifications, therefore, approved by <br />the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The Engineer, W SB & Associates, Inc., is hereby authorized and directed to return <br />forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of <br />the successful bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a <br />contract has been signed. <br />Adopted this 2211 day of November, 2022. <br />ATTEST <br />City Clerk <br />Reviewed for administration: <br />Charlie Yunker, City Manager <br />
