Page 2 <br />gallons) carts with hinged lids and wheels used for the Collection of Refuse, Recycling, and Yard <br />Waste. <br />2.4.Collection <br />The aggregation of material from the place at which it is generated and includes all activities up to <br />the time the material is delivered to a solid waste facility. Material Collection will occur at curb and <br />alley locations. <br />2.5.Composition <br />The Composition of recyclable materials as an estimated percentage based on the results of the <br />Recycling Composition Analysis. <br />2.6.Compostable Bag(s) <br />Compostable bags must meet all the specifications in ASTM Standard Specification for Compostable <br />Plastics (D6400) compostable bags. Acceptable bags include paper lawn and leaf bags, paper <br />grocery store bags, and certified compostable plastic bags. <br />2.7.Composting Facility <br />Facility permitted to process Yard Waste and/or Source Separated Organics in conformance with <br />state and local regulations. <br />2.8.Contaminants as Collected <br />The materials set out by Customers in their Recycling Cart that are not recyclable as defined in <br />this Contract. <br />2.9.Contract <br />This final Agreement once executed by both parties, the City and the Contractor. <br />2.10.Contractor <br />Any party to the Contract, with the exception of the City itself. <br />2.11.Customer <br />Any residential Single-Family and multi-family Household in buildings of three units or less that is <br />required to use the City contracted Collection service. <br />2.12.Day-Certain Collection <br />The City has established Wednesday and Thursday as Collection days. Contractor and City will work <br />together to determine the Wednesday and Thursday zones for Collection. The only exceptions to <br />the day-certain Collection schedule shall be during those weeks in which a designated holiday <br />occurs or other emergency situations as determined by the City. <br />2.13.Electronics <br />Computers, including tablet computers and laptops, peripherals, printers, facsimile machines, DVD <br />players, video cassette recorders, video display devices, and other devices as required under the <br />117
