CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 23-017 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONTRACT AGREEMENT WITH ASPEN WASTE <br />SYSTEMS, INC. FOR SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLING SERVICES <br />WHEREAS, The City of St. Anthony released a Request for Proposals for comprehensive solid <br />waste and recycling services for all residential single-family and multi -family <br />households of three units or less on July 1, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS, The City of St. Anthony received proposals from Walters Recycling and Refuse <br />and Aspen Waste Systems, Inc.; and <br />WHEREAS, The City of St. Anthony's Proposal Review Committee selected Aspen Waste <br />Systems, Inc. as the top ranked proposer and Walters Recycling and Refuse as the <br />second ranked proposer; and <br />WHEREAS, The City of St. Anthony chose Aspen Waste Systems for comprehensive solid <br />waste and recycling services for all residential single-family and multi -family <br />households of three units or less; and <br />WHEREAS, The contract stipulates the conditions of the agreement for the time period of <br />April 1, 2023 through March 31, 2028; <br />WHEREAS, the City of Saint Anthony desires to enter said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF SAINT <br />ANTHONY VILLAGE, MINNESOTA approves the contract agreement with Aspen Waste <br />Systems, Inc. for comprehensive solid waste and recycling services for all residential single- <br />family and multi -family households of three units or less for the contract period of April 1, 2023 <br />through March 31, 2028. <br />Adopted this 10"' day of January, 2023. <br />ATTE <br />City Clerk <br />Review for Administration: <br />C ie Yunker, City Manager <br />
