City of St. Anthony <br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />Minutes <br />February 14, 2023 <br />Present: <br />Mayor & Council: <br />Randy Stille, Mayor, Bernard Walker, Thomas Randle, Wendy Webster, Jan Jenson, Councilmembers <br />Absent: <br />Thomas Randle, Councilmember <br />Staff: <br />Charlie Yunker, City Manager <br />Call to Order: <br />Mayor Stille called the Work Session to order at 6:01 p.m. <br />2023 Pyramid: <br />Staff presented the draft 2023 Pyramid that was the end result of discussion at the Goal Setting session <br />in late January. Council discussed the changes and agreed they reflected the desire of the Council. <br />Subsequent changes were discussed around moving the Core Values section under the Mission <br />Statement, which staff will do. The Council also discussed the wording of the Vision Statement and in <br />particular where to include “Inclusive”; either only in the Vision Statement, only in the Core Values by <br />revising that list, or in both sections. <br />Council did not come to a consensus on final wording, and asked staff to bring two versions for review <br />and schedule a Work Session on February 28th when all Councilmembers can be present. <br />Open Parks & Environmental Commission Seat: <br />Staff reported that Katie Godmare has submitted her resignation. This leaves on open seat on the Parks <br />& Environmental Commission. The questions was put to the Council on filling the seat by opening up an <br />application process, or reviewing applications from the most recent poll of applicants in late 2022. <br />Council discussed and asked staff to contact the recent applications to determine continued interest, <br />and to bring those interested to the next Work Session for review. <br />Future Work Sessions: <br />Next Work Session will be held on February 28th, 2022, at 6:00pm in the Council Chambers. <br />Adjournment: <br />The meeting adjourned at 6:51 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted by Charlie Yunker, City Manager.
