City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />April 11, 2023 <br />Page 4 <br />Mr. Yunker reviewed the Action Steps for the Strategic Initiatives for the 1" quarter of 2023. <br />Mayor Stille thanked Mr. Yunker for the update and noted there are challenges that need to be <br />addressed. <br />VII. REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />8 City Manager Yunker stated the Steering Wheel Lock Event will be held April 15 for 2021 <br />9 Hyundai or Kia owners. Register at City Hall. On April 19 the Code Officials are presenting a <br />10 City Code Forum at 6-8pm in Council Chambers. <br />11 <br />12 Councilmember Walker had no report. <br />13 <br />14 Councilmember Jenson reminded the Metro Cities Annual Meeting is April 19 at 5pm at the <br />15 Roseville Skating Center. Councilmembers are invited. <br />16 <br />17 Councilmember Randle had no report. <br />18 <br />19 Councilmember Webster reported the Waste Hauler Transition has gone very well. She <br />20 appreciated the creativity the residents reached out to one another. It is all working out. She <br />21 stated the next two Thursdays a Youth Mental Health First Aid Training to be held in St. <br />22 Anthony. <br />23 <br />24 Mayor Stille stated a joint meeting was held with the Parks and Environmental Commission to <br />25 discuss the Climate Action Plan. All Council attended. On April 10 he attended the Regional <br />26 Council of Mayors Meeting and the topic was Public Safety. <br />27 <br />28 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />WE <br />30 Ms. Mary Lynn Waterhouse stated she lives on Mirror Lake on Foss Road and they have been <br />31 noticing semitrucks parked on Foss Road. The signs do not deter them being parked there for <br />32 several days. The traffic has become more difficult going around the semis. Her neighbor has <br />33 been calling the police and rickets have been issued but thrown on the ground. The trucks are not <br />34 from around St. Anthony. She noted Foss and Chandler were not designed to be parking areas for <br />35 semitrucks and it is dangerous for people trying to walk across the street. This all started about a <br />36 year ago and is now very prevalent. She asked if slow signs could be put up since a school bus <br />37 stops twice a day. <br />38 <br />39 Mayor Stille stated Mr. Yunker will investigate and report back to Council. <br />40 <br />41 IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br />42 <br />43 Councilmember Walker announced April 22 from loam — 12noon the St. Anthony Village <br />44 Historical Society will be holding their Annual Meeting at City Hall. <br />45 <br />46 <br />
