(J) In addition to the permit time allowances in this Section, a property that has a newly <br />established business may display one temporary sign for thirty (30) days leading up to <br />and/or following the opening date. A property that has a business that is going out of <br />business may display a temporary sign for thirty (30) days leading up to the final date of <br />operations. <br /> <br /> <br />§ 155.23 SIGNS REQUIRING NO PERMITS. <br /> <br />(G) The owner of any property zoned R-1, R-1A, R-2, R-3, R-4, C, or I may display one (1) <br />temporary sign of up to ten (10) square feet in area per sign surface relating to activities or events <br />occurring in a R/OS, Recreation and Open Space District, for a period of up to twenty one (21) <br />days per calendar year. This temporary sign shall be located entirely on the owner’s property, <br />and shall be in addition to the one permitted six (6) square foot non-commercial speech sign per <br />Section 155.30(4). <br /> <br />(H) Any property in the R/OS Recreation and Open Space District may display one (1) <br />temporary sign per street frontage of up to ten (10) square feet in area per sign surface relating to <br />activities or events occurring on property zoned R/OS, Recreation and Open Space District. <br /> <br />(I) For property zoned Residential, one (1) sign of up to six square feet in area per sign surface <br />may be displayed on days when an active garage or rummage sale is occurring on site, up to a <br />maximum of nine (9) days per calendar year. <br /> <br />§ 155.30 DISTRICT SCHEDULES. <br />(A)(1)(c) The following types of signs are not permitted in residential zoning districts: <br />9.
