Action Steps <br />Environmental Responsibility <br />INFLOW & INFILTRATION INSPECTION PROGRAM <br />• Implement in early ‘23 <br /> <br />• Program went into effect on March 1st. To date, <br />approximately 111 inspections completed, about 20% <br />have needed repairs. <br /> <br />CLIMATE ACTION PLAN <br />• Assess the City’s role & define scope <br />• Review existing plans & draft Saint <br />Anthony plan <br />• Identify goals & desired outcomes <br /> <br />• The City has engaged WSB to facilitate the process of <br />drafting a plan. This will be completed by the end of 2023 <br />with the involvement of the Parks & Environmental <br />Commission (PEC). <br />• Joint work session with the PEC was held on March 30th <br />to define the scope and being the project. <br />• Community survey to gather input on priorities was <br />launched in early June and will be open through August. <br />City is using communication channels and the PEC will <br />attend events to promote community input. <br /> <br />GREENSTEP CITIES <br />• Maintain highest GreenStep 5 status <br />• Participate in Gold Leaf Pilot Program <br /> <br />• 2022 report submitted to GreenStep. <br />• GreenStep 5 status maintained for 2022. <br />• 1st of 2 projects to participate in the program, the Harding <br />Pond cleanout, is nearly complete. Other project is the <br />Climate Action plan to be completed later this year. <br />• City was awarded a part-time intern to help compile the <br />Climate Plan document. <br /> <br /> <br />Thriving Village <br />AFFORDABLE HOUSING <br />• Preserve naturally occurring affordable <br />housing <br />• Monitor large-scale corporate ownership <br /> <br />SENIOR SERVICES <br />• Work with community partners to <br />understand position, future needs & <br />expectations <br /> <br />PEDESTRIAN & BIKE-FRIENDLY ROUTES <br />• Plan for expansion & enhancement with <br />future county projects <br /> <br />• This action step will be integrated into the Climate Action <br />Plan action step under Environmental Responsibility. <br />• Staff met with Hennepin County staff to discuss future <br />reconfiguration of Kenzie Terrace and possible addition of <br />walking/biking lane <br />104
