Housing and Redevelopment Authority Meeting Minutes <br />June 27, 2023 <br />Page 2 <br />1 Commissioner Webster asked if the letter of intent is signed is the City bound to a purchase <br />2 agreement. Mr. Yunker stated it does not bind either party to anything. <br />3 <br />4 Chair Stille noted this ties the property up until the end of August. He noted the property was <br />5 purchased from the US Marshall. The applicant was present at the meeting. <br />7 Mr. Charlie Aul, representing David and Laura Hernandez who are requesting the letter of intent <br />8 be signed. They own the car wash that is adjacent to this property. They will share their dreams <br />9 for the property at the upcoming meeting. <br />10 <br />11 Chair Stille stated the building may need some work outside and inside. <br />12 <br />13 Motion by Commissioner Webster, seconded by Commissioner Randle, to approve Resolution <br />14 23-01 A Resolution Authorizing Staff to Sign Letter of Intent to Purchase the City -Owned <br />15 Property at 3803 Stinson Blvd NE, St. Anthony, MN 55421. <br />16 <br />17 Commissioner Walker stated in talking to David and Laura they are excited about their concept. <br />18 He was very enthused about the concept. <br />19 <br />20 Motion carried 5-0. <br />21 <br />22 V.
