MEMORANDUM <br />To:Saint Anthony Village City Council <br />From:Charlie Yunker, City Manager <br />Date:September 26, 2023 City Council Meeting <br />Resolution:Approval of Resolution 23-051 -Special Event Permit for a Fundraiser hosted by St. Anthony <br />Kiwanis October 15, 2023 from 5:30-9:00PM at City Hall <br />OVERVIEW <br />In front of you this evening is a resolution to approve a special event permit request from St. Anthony Kiwanis to hold a <br />fundraiser on October 15, 2023 from 5:30 p.m - 9:00 p.m. <br />Staff has created a special event permit to facilitate gathering event information, department head reviews of event, and <br />staff recommendations to the City Council. The special event permit is used if the event fits one or more of the following <br />criteria: <br />Expected attendance of more than 100 people and open to the general public <br />Event is requesting the use of city property and/or street closures <br />There will be amplified live or pre-recorded music <br />There will be the sale of alcoholic beverages <br />The applicant is seeking permission to host an event at City Hall which will include: being held on city property and the sale <br />of alcoholic beverages. <br />Staff has reviewed the special event and recommends approval. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Application <br />Resolution 23-051
