ORDINANCE 2023-08 1 CITY OF ST. ANTHONY HENNEPIN AND RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ST. ANTHONY CITY CODE, BY AMENDING SECTIONS 150.124, 150.127, AND 152.008 RELATING TO RENTAL LICENSING LIMITS FOR SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED DWELLINGS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY HEREBY ORDAINS: Section 1. Section §152.008 DEFINITIONS is hereby amended to add the following: BLOCK: A block is a tract of land bounded on all sides by streets or by a combination of streets, public parks, railroad rights-of-way, or other permanent boundaries. Section 2. Section §150.124 DEFINTIONS is hereby amended to add the following: BLOCK: A block is a tract of land bounded on all sides by streets or by a combination of streets, public parks, railroad rights-of-way, or other permanent boundaries. Section 3. Section §150.127 LICENSE REQUIRED is hereby amended to add the following: (A) Single Family Detached Licenses (1) No more than 54 single family detached units may be licensed as rental properties within the City at any time. (2) No licensee shall be issued license(s) for more than four (4) single family detached units as rental properties within the City at any time. (3) No more than two (2) licenses shall be issued for the same side of a street within a single block, nor shall more than three (3) licenses be issued for any single block in total. (4) No license shall be issued for more than two (2) contiguous parcels. (5) For the purposes of this Section, the City is divided into quadrants, being northwest of Silver Lake Road and 33rd Street NE, northeast of Silver Lake Road and 33rd Street NE, southwest of Silver Lake Road and 33rd Street NE, and southeast of Silver Lake Road and 33rd Street NE. Within these quadrants, no more than twenty (20) individual single family detached units shall be granted rental licenses.
