REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br />To:Saint Anthony Village City Council <br />From:Charlie Yunker, City Manager <br />Date:November 28, 2023 City Council Meeting <br />Resolution:Approving the 2024 Agreement between the International Association of Fire Fighters, Local <br />3486 Representing the Saint Anthony Fire Department Employees and the City of Saint Anthony <br />Village <br />BACKGROUND <br />For your approval is a resolution approving the Cost of Living Adjustments (COLA) and market adjustment for <br />Police Officers. A three (3) year contract with the St. Anthony Fire Department, Police Department, and Public <br />Works Department’s employees was approved in 2021 which included a reopener for wages in the third year. <br />Health insurance premium changes will be split equally between City and employees. <br />The union agreed to a 3.50% COLA increase, as was anticipated during the budget and levy discussions in <br />preparation for the preliminary levy approval on September 12, 2023.
