There are a lot of potholes on the trails that fill up with water and freeze in the fall. He
would like to see the trail improved. There have been some conversations about a dog park.
People that have dogs want a dog park. There are thousands of dogs in the City. People are
driving to other cities to walk their dogs in the dog parks. People are concerned with safety
around dogs. The point of a dog park is to get dogs off leash to run free within the boundaries
of the dog park. The Commission can continue conversations with Council if desired. Mr.
White stated the City has a policy of not allowing people to use pervious pavers for parking to
allow water to drain through. WSB said because we have clay soil permeable pavers cannot
be used. If someone wants to put in a driveway using permeable pavers it is not permitted.
Commissioner Doolan suggested putting in rain gardens.

IX.
