MEMORANDUM <br />To:City of Saint Anthony Village City Council <br />From:Deborah Maloney, Finance Director <br />Date:December 12, 2023 City Council Meeting <br />Request:Approval of resolution 23-072 <br />OVERVIEW <br />Generally, the approval of transfers is consent agenda item. For 2023 transfers, staff would like to point out that this schedule <br />includes information regarding use of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. Staff has reviewed with City Council the <br />eligible uses in prior meetings. The uses listed in the transfers schedule are consistent with the areas of spending approved by <br />the City Council in prior meetings. The total ARPA funds received by the City was $984,960 with 2022 actual expenditures <br />of ARPA funds of $331,456, leaving a balance of $653,517. The remaining ARPA funds were spent in 2023 as detailed <br />below and in resolution 23-072. These funds were used for the following purposes: <br />Harding pond 2023 Estimated Final Restoration costs - $154,000 <br />Fire Engine and police vehicles - $499,517 <br />The above spends the remaining ARPA funds balance. <br />Staff recommends the approval of the transfers resolution 23-072 that includes the use of ARPA funds. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Transfer schedule <br />Resolution 23-072 <br />39
