City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />December 12, 2023 <br />Page 9 <br />1 <br />2 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM - NONE. <br />3 <br />4 No one appeared to address the Council. <br />5 <br />6 IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br />7 <br />8 Mayor Stille announced this will be the last meeting of the City Council for 2023. This will be <br />9 Councilmember Walker's last meeting. Mayor Stille congratulated Councilmember Walker on <br />10 his four year term. <br />11 <br />12 Councilmember Jenson announced this is also Mayor Stille's last meeting for 2023. The <br />13 Councilmembers provided remarks to Mayor Stille. <br />14 <br />15 Councilmember Webster thanked Mayor Stille for serving the community for 25 years as a <br />16 Planning Commissioner, Councilmember, and as Mayor. <br />17 <br />18 Councilmember Randle stated it has been a pleasure serving with Mayor Stille over the past 4 <br />19 years. He served the City well and he will be dearly missed. <br />20 <br />21 Councilmember Walker stated his comments are more about Mayor Stille as a person. <br />22 <br />23 Councilmember Jenson stated he has been on Council with Mayor Stille for 14 years. He read <br />24 some of Mayor Stille's accomplishments in the City. <br />25 <br />26 Each read a written statement. A plaque was presented to Mayor Stille. Photographs were taken. <br />27 <br />28 Mayor Stille thanked the Council and read farewell speech. He thanked the people he has worked <br />29 with along the way. <br />30 <br />31 X.
