Process: <br />We open the applications to all residents. All applicants are being interviewed tonight. The chosen applicants will be <br />appointed by the City Council. You will receive a phone call either way. <br />Questions for the Parks Commission: <br />1.Please tell us about yourself and your interest in serving on the Parks and Environmental Commission. <br />2.St. Anthony has aging parks and a new Climate Action Plan we will have to prioritize. Describe a time when you <br />had to prioritize long-term projects versus short-term initiatives. <br />3.What is your opinion of the importance of public engagement in the decision-making process and how would you <br />go about soliciting input from the community? <br />4.The Commission is sometimes asked to consider topics that may not be supported by all residents. Describe a <br />time when you had to balance conflicting opinions while making a decision. <br />5.We recently adopted a Climate Action Plan that includes actions for both the city and the community to take up. <br />What strategies would you use to engage the community in sustainability efforts? <br />6.How do you stay informed about the latest sustainability research and technology?
