REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br />To:Saint Anthony Village City Council <br />From:Charlie Yunker, City Manager <br />Date:February 13, 2024 City Council Meeting <br />Resolution:Approving the 2024 Appointments to the Parks & Environmental Commission <br />BACKGROUND <br />In front of you this evening is a resolution approving the 2024 appointments to the Parks & Environmental <br />commission. <br />Parks & Environmental Commission application information was advertised on the City’s website. There are two <br />(2) vacancies due to a commissioner resignation and a commissioner being elected to council. Five (5) <br />applications were received and all were interviewed by the Mayor and Council on February 5, 2024. <br />The Mayor and City Council individually and city council then agreed by consensus on appointing Daniel Bakke <br />with a term ending December 31, 2024 and Jessica Swiontek with a term ending December 31, 2025. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends approval.
