City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />January 9, 2024 <br />Page 6 <br />1 Councilmember Jenson administered the Oath of Office for Andrea Stephens as Councilmember <br />2 of the City of St. Anthony Village. <br />3 <br />4 Councilmember Stephens joined the Council at the dais. <br />5 <br />6 VII.REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />7 <br />8 City Manager Yunker welcomed Chris Carroll as a new employee to the City Finance <br />9 Department. <br />10 <br />11 Councilmember Doolan stated on January 3, she participated in the interview of City Council <br />12 applicants. She has been working with Commissioner Lily Fee to do the annual Water Poster <br />13 Contest presentations. <br />14 <br />15 Councilmember Jenson stated he participated in the interview process. <br />16 <br />17 Councilmember Randle stated he attended the interview process. <br />18 <br />19 Councilmember Stephens stated she is honored and looks forward to doing the best job for the <br />20 City. <br />21 <br />22 Mayor Webster stated she met with Congresswoman Omar on December 18, 2023 and learned <br />23 more about how her office can support St. Anthony. She met with Councilmember Jenson about <br />24 strengthening the onboarding process for Councilmembers. On December 27, 2023 she met with <br />25 the Mayors from Columbia Heights and Golden Valley. She had several meetings with City <br />26 Manager Charlie Yunker. On January 8, she attended the Regional Council of Mayors Meeting <br />27 in Minneapolis. On January 8 she had a meeting with Commissioner Fernando. <br />28 <br />29 VIII.COMMUNITY FORUM - NONE. <br />30 <br />31 No one appeared to address the Council. <br />32 <br />33 IX.INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br />34 <br />35 Councilmember Doolan stated February is Plastic Waste Challenge Month and she encouraged <br />36 everyone to join in. Hennepin County is holding a friendly competition. <br />37 <br />38 X.
