1 CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />2 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />3 FEBRUARY 13, 2024 <br />4 <br />5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />6 <br />7 Mayor Webster called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />8 <br />9 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />10 <br />11 Mayor Webster invited the Council and audience to join in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />12 <br />13 ROLL CALL. <br />14 <br />15 Present: Mayor Webster, Councilmembers Doolan, Jenson, Randle and Stephens. <br />16 <br />17 Absent:None <br />18 <br />19 Also Present:City Manager Charlie Yunker, Police Chief Jeffrey Spiess, Finance Director Deborah <br />20 Maloney, <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />24 ITEMS. <br />25 <br />I.26 APPROVAL OF FEBRUARY 13, 2024 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />27 <br />28 Motion by Councilmember Doolan, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the City <br />29 Council Meeting Agenda of February 13, 2024 as presented. <br />30 <br />31 Motion carried 5-0. <br />32 <br />II.33 PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITION. <br />34 <br />A.35 Swearing in of Police Chief Jeffrey Spiess. <br />36 <br />37 City Manager Yunker introduced Police Chief Jeffrey Spiess and provided some background <br />38 information. <br />39 <br />40 Mayor Webster administered the swearing in of Police Chief Jeffrey Spiess. Photographs were <br />41 taken. <br />42 <br />43 Police Chief Spiess stated the turnout this evening is very humbling for him. The relationships <br />44 within the City are very strong. He thanked numerous people for their support. <br />45 <br />46 Mayor Webster stated she is grateful on behalf of St. Anthony that Police Chief Jeffrey Spies is <br />47 the leader. She is very proud of the Police Department. <br />48 <br />49
