CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 24-039 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION FOR EURASIAN MILFOIL <br />TREATMENT OF SILVER LAKE <br />WHEREAS, Silver Lake, a lake that numerous St. Anthony residents enjoy and utilize, has been <br />overcome with Eurasian Milfoil; and <br />WHEREAS, In 2023 Lake Restoration treated 15% of the lake which was funded by the Silver Lake <br />Residents Association, MN DNR grant and the City of Columbia Heights, and <br />WHEREAS, Lake Restoration treated 100% of the lake in April of 2024 for a total cost of $12,000, and <br />WHEREAS, The Silver Lake Residents Association requested $2000 in financial assistance from the City <br />of St. Anthony at the May 14, 2024 City Council Worksession to help pay for the April 2024 <br />treatment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony Village that <br />a financial contribution in the amount of $2000 to the Silver Lake Residents Association for the Eurasian <br />Milfoil treatment of Silver Lake is hereby approved. <br />Adopted this l lth day of June, 2024. <br />ATTEST C k ' <br />Jennifer Doyle, City Clerk <br />Reviewed for administration: <br />Wendy Webstef, Mayor <br />Chazlie Yunker, City Manager <br />
