CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 24-045 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br />ASSESSMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAINT ANTHONY <br />VILLAGE AND HENNEPIN COUNTY <br />WHEREAS, The City of St. Anthony has contracted services with Hennepin County <br />for assessing services for the Hennepin County portion of the city. The <br />current contract with Hennepin County expires on July 31, 2024; and <br />WHEREAS, at a meeting on 5/14/2024of the Board of Hennepin County <br />Commissioners, a Resolution as adopted directing the County <br />Administrator to negotiate joint powers agreements with jurisdictions <br />within Hennepin County with populations under 30,000 and jurisdictions <br />currently under agreement with the county for local assessment services <br />to be performed by the Hennepin County Assessor at no cost to these <br />jurisdictions; and <br />WHEREAS, staff finds the agreement in the best interest of the City; and <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of St. Anthony Village City <br />Council authorizes the City Manager to execute said Agreement. <br />Adopted this 9th day of July, 2024. <br />Wendy Web ter, Mayor <br />i <br />ATTEST: <br />JerMifer Doyle, City Clerk <br />Reviewed for administration: <br />Charlie Yunker, City Manager <br />
